Maybe your child is experiencing loneliness or has been a victim of bullying. Perhaps he or she is intimidated by authority figures or simply has difficulty making friends. It is possible that a child is too afraid to speak up and have a voice. They may lack confidence in reading or other tasks.
 
Whatever the case may be, a lack of self-confidence can place limits and hindrances on your child on one level (practical), and be a source of anxiety and suffering on another level (emotional). Over a period of time and without the proper help this can be detrimental to the child. K - 4 - K is my very own unique EFT protocol and is designed for children in grade school. K - 4 - K mini power sessions are ½ hour in length each. I engage the child in conversation at a simplified level and use EFT to firstly help collapse the intensity of your child’s fears and hesitations and secondly to help instill a greater sense of confidence.
 
The advantages include the following and more:

• the sessions are shorter than regular sessions, making them more affordable for you and the time frame is more suitable for a child.
• the session is restricted to one parent/guardian, the child and myself. This is intended to give your child a sense of comfort and ease with you at his or her side and affords you the opportunity to provide valuable input and information in a safe, warm setting.
• during the session you may come to a deeper awareness of the issues your child is facing, the dynamic challenges he or she is facing in regards to those issues, possible contributing factors and the reasons and strategies he or she uses to cope.
• MOST IMPORTANT: you, as parent/guardian will learn the ‘Basic Recipe’ (simplified version) of EFT. This EFT tool can be of immense value to you to use one-on-one with your child. It can enable you to feel extremely gratified and empowered, knowing that you can take a loving and pro-active role in helping your child in varied and different ways any time you wish with this very promising technique.
